About us
We met in Birmingham while studying jazz in 2017, and have worked together on each other’s projects ever since. Now based in London, we develop our sound as a duo whenever we get a chance. We love heart-warming interpretations of jazz ballads, lively upbeat swing, and relaxing versions of modern classics.
We perform a large variety of tunes, and will tailor our setlist with your event in mind. We are also open to learning requests in advance - please let us know what you’d love to hear!

Daisy Houlder
Vocals
Daisy Houlder is a vocalist from Cheltenham, currently studying for her Master’s in Jazz at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, supported by Help Musicians. After studying music for her undergraduate degree at the University of Birmingham, Daisy released her debut EP ‘Until Now’ in 2022 which is centered around her journey to womanhood, supported by Cheltenham Arts Council and Women in Jazz. Following this project, she has continued to create powerful new music and perform in venues across London, Birmingham, and Gloucestershire.

Joel Marten
Guitar
Joel Marten is a session musician, composer and songwriter from West London. His live work has taken him on tour across the UK, including a run of shows with artist Emie Nathan supporting Lewis Capaldi in 2022. He also composes for a variety of theatre plays, including ‘Mary & Mietek’ which is being taken to the Reykjavik Fringe in 2023. Joel collaborates and performs with various bands and musicians on London’s alternative rock scene.
